Conshohocken Dental Arts is Hiring a Human Resources Manager Near Conshohocken, PA

Job Title: Human Resources Manager

Location: Media, West Chester, and Conshohocken (Travel between locations required)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Continuously assess all staffing needs and provide support for Office Managers with effective recruitment processes.
  • Provide training and development support to ensure all staff demonstrate knowledge of business models, operating procedures, and protocols.
  • Support daily office operations within the region when necessary.
  • Advise staff on compliance with employment practices and laws, including labor laws, HR policies, employee relations, union functions, workers’ compensation, ADA, FMLA, and EEO/AA.
  • Implement strategies to manage human capital and develop top talent.
  • Plan HR strategies to achieve organizational goals.
  • Lead and guide staff with recruitment, onboarding, training, and workforce development.
  • Recruit new employees and hire top performers.
  • Responsible for onboarding new team members.
  • Design and implement strategies to develop existing staff into top performers.
  • Coach and mediate others as necessary to resolve employee performance issues.
  • Assist with strategies to improve productivity, develop talent, decrease unwanted turnover, and enhance the patient experience.
  • Coordinate with staff to determine staffing needs, goals, interviewing, selecting, coaching, evaluating performance, and providing ongoing training for staff and direct reports.
  • Investigate workplace harassment, sexual harassment, and discrimination claims and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Monitor human resource metrics to help improve the organization.
  • Serve as an expert on applicable federal and state labor laws and company policies/procedures.
  • Implement corrective actions to improve team member performance.
  • Provide input to the COO/CFO/CDO/CEO on initiatives to meet business objectives and improve the organization.
  • Ensure employees are held accountable for agreed-upon results.
  • Conduct exit interviews to determine reasons for turnover and work to minimize turnover rates.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to minimize turnover costs.
  • Consult with labor attorney and other service providers as necessary.
  • Represent the organization at labor-related hearings/investigations.
  • Build positive company culture and employee morale by promoting a supportive team-oriented workplace.
  • Develop excellent employee relations and positive company culture.
  • Assist others in professional development and achieving their individual goals.
  • Communicate and express ideas, issues, and concerns calmly and professionally.
  • Maintain calm under pressure or high-stress situations.
  • Demonstrate excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Always meet the standards of professional and ethical conduct.
  • Plan, track, and manage business improvement projects.
  • Meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. preferred.
  • 1-3 years of progressive HR experience, including management and leadership roles.
  • HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR) preferred.
  • Strong understanding of federal and state labor laws and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record of implementing HR strategies to achieve organizational goals..
  • Experience working in a healthcare or related industry is a plus.
  • Ability to travel between office locations as needed.
